Our Services
Is it free ?
Music makes them (residents) smile. It surprised me how thoroughly they enjoyed it, they really expressed themselves. Evelyn
Unfortunately, no. Our musicians are highly skilled and provide a professional service like any other.
As a guideline, all our homes pay a minimum of £75 per group and £40 for each hour of individual visits*.
We are a non-profit social enterprise so we fundraise from grants and sponsorship to run our service and partly fund the music sessions. The price you pay is not the full cost for the group sessions, we top-up the care home’s contribution because we want everyone to have access to quality live music. We want to make it affordable for you so we can tier our offer to suit you.
You will receive a free initial session, then if you would like to follow up, we will provide a 3-month trial at a reduced rate.
*These figures are based on weekly sessions for a 12 month contract. The number of individual visits will vary on the day, depending on the needs and availability of dementia patients. An average number of individual visits per hour is 3.
We are sorry that we cannot generally offer a less than weekly service or one-off visits.
